Requesting an extra day: If you need an extra day of child care, please request this via ‘Agenda’ in the Parent app. You can request an extra day by clicking on the notepad icon at the top right of the screen. If you do not have enough credit to pay for this, it will be invoiced to you. This is also stated clearly in the application under Invoicing: billing. We cannot guarantee placement for any extra days requested. Availability and the applicable laws and regulations will determine if your request is approved by the childcare centre.
Credits: Under ‘Other’ in the Parent app, you can see your credits. The credits expire automatically at the end of the calendar year and also in the event of premature termination of the childcare contract. There is no entitlement to a refund. Credits can also not be transferred to any brothers or sisters. Our childcare centres are closed during Dutch national holidays. You will not receive any credit for these days. Credit is per half an hour of childcare.
Care credit as a result of absence: You can use this childcare credit if you need an extra day’s childcare. This credit has a maximum per calendar year. Once you have used this credit for an extra day, the remaining maximum credit you can accrue will be adjusted accordingly i.e. it does not go back up to the annual limit. After you have cancelled a day’s care for your child, you can use the credit for 30 days before the cancelled day, up to the end of the calendar year. Unused care credit expires immediately at the end of the calendar year and also in the event of premature termination of the care contract. There is no entitlement to a refund.
You cannot transfer the credit accrued for child day care to out-of-school care nor can you use this credit for brothers or sisters. This credit has a maximum per type of care:
